I didn’t want to be an influencer. I just wanted a space that felt like home.
So I made one.
Welcome to The Mariposa Edit.
This is a digital casita where you can land and disappear for a bit. Here, you’ll find comfort shows and product recs, routines and reflections, Spanglish thoughts and slow-living rituals. You won’t find perfection. You will find presence.
Why “The Mariposa Edit”?
A mariposa is a symbol of transformation. An edit is never final. Together, they capture the spirit of becoming — messy, ongoing, and real.
I’ve been chronically online since I was a pre-teen, but never found a space that felt like me. I’m a first-gen Latina who grew up on Rebelde after school, Dawson’s Creek on Netflix, Walter Mercado’s zodiac predictions, and BuzzFeed quizzes that decided my Hunger Games district. Un poquito de aquí y un poquito de allá.
For years, I searched for where I fit, chasing aesthetics, influencers, and trends. But the truth is, I don’t fit in. And that’s the point.
We’re more than an aesthetic or whatever the algorithm decides we are. We connect through voice, feeling, and taste, not just selfies and likes.
This space is for those who live in-between: between softness and strength, between cultures, between burnout and breakthrough. Un poquito de aquí, un poquito de allá. A little bit of everything.
A place where you can simply land, breathe, and just be.
